HI, I have been studying English for one year and a half now and I'm pretty good at speaking 'cause I have been following what benny always says about speaking from day one since the day I started and have been practicing on skype a lot and also don't watch brazilian tv anymore, only tv shows in English on my computer. The way i've learned has nothing to do with grammar books and academic courses.

But now thing's changed a little bit cause i'm studying English in college and i am pretty sure i need to take a step further in the way i have been studying it, let's say that I am going to teach it soon, and i have no idea how to handle it. yeah of course college will teach me how to teach but i need to hear from you guys who have already experienced that and maybe learned the same way i did and had to change the way of their studies.

I brought the way i learned to you guys cause that's what i need you to understand and help me with, that's the only way i know that works for me and it is the way i learned and now i'm not sure how i'm supposed to take my studies to a higher level especially because i'm not used to this idea of using books and studying grammar, so what  should I be focusing on especially the grammar thing and how i am supposed to study it since i never payed attention to it before? what would be the best way?

Hope you guys can help me.
