OfflineBenny, you say that often when you get into the airplane to go to your new target country all you know is "Hello, Thank you, Yes/No" etc, but once you arrive, you can already have little mini conversations with the locals.
Now, I'm assuming I am correct when I say you are probably learning some of the vocabulary on the flight there. What I would like to know, however, is how do you know where to start? What phrases are on your priority list? What kind of material do you recommend?
