Beginner Spanish Roleplay | Find a conversation exchange | Forum

I'm looking to participate in some beginner/intermediate Spanish (preferably Latin American) text roleplay. I'm not really particularly interested in a specific genre, so something basic/real life-oriented might be the easiest.

If you are not familiar with text roleplay, a google search for "roleplay forum jcink" might help. jcink is a particular host, and that search comes up more specific than just "roleplay forum".

I'm open to different formats, whether on here in a thread or in IM or Second Life or another venue like Facebook or a multigenre RP forum (I know a couple that would be open to us using their site). I know there are also some on Gaia, but they tend to be limited to very young kids and not a lot goes on regularly.

I don't know about any Spanish roleplays, but if someone knows of something like this in Italian I would be happy to hear about it. Roleplaying was how I improved my English almost through the last 10 years, it is lots of fun and really addictive, but I always had trouble finding any decent RPGs in other languages (that don't only have 12-13 year olds, but are not too advanced as well)

 

Yeah, I know a bunch of people who learned or dramatically improved their English through RP, but that is the rub, because they are so hard to find in other languages. I know they exist, but finding the right search terms is difficult. So I thought maybe trying on a language site might help.
