Hey there, I'm motanz from Mexico City, new to the forum, but not to the blog.

I've been learning Russian for 2 years now, but haven't got a real improvement yet. I've been on and off with French and German, so I guess it's time to take them back seriously. The same for Icelandic and Portuguese with 6 months of study each… and I'm new to Turkish, but I'm really digging it.

I'd love to practice all of them with natives, fluent speakers, or people who are learning them too. I can help with your Spanish; I'm a very hard spanish grammar and spelling enthusiast, so if you have any questions or want a language exchange, contact me in Twitter (@motanz) or Skype (motanz).

P.S. I can help you with your English too, and maybe need some help myself. It's not a comfortable language for me, so…

Welcome! =)

I think Mexican is my favorite Spanish accent so far (it also happens to be the easiest to understand, in my opinion).

Yeah, Mexican and Colombian are the most understandable Spanish accents, and very suitable for beginners. :)

hello!

I can  help with Portuguese if you want to practise. About your mother tongue I'm not sure if I can communicate well in Spanish although I have friends in Peru and Spain (a mix between Spanish and Portuguese sometimes works in my communication ;D but it's easier because they speak Portuguese…).
