Hi there. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience working one on one with a tutor or if anyone has an opinion on the topic. From my guess it seems that it would be quicker to work with a tutor vs working in a class of 10 students, that way you have 100 percent of the focus. Do you agree? How much quicker would it be? Would it take longer to work 1 on 1 with a tutor? any comments are greatly appreciated

I found working 1-on-1 with a teacher really helpful. I think I progressed much more quickly than when I was taking a class. It's more expensive though obviously. On the other hand, taking a class was a good way to meet new friends in a new country…

Thanks for the reply! I am thinking about going to Guatemala and taking one on one spanish classes there. 40 Hours of one on one classes are $195 per week. I can't belive that it is so cheap. Does anyone know if the quality is any good in Guatemala?? Thanks
