Password NOT necessary - I can log in with blank password field | Miscellaneous / Off-topic | Forum

Hi,

I recently signed up, and the first thing I did was change my password (because it was sent to me via an unencrypted e-mail; c'est une bonne idée?).

And now, I can log in with any password whatsoever, or I can even log in with a blank password field, even after deleting all cookies, including flash cookies.

Ça me semble bizarre  

[Edit by admin: Yes, this was happening for a few days - I had a faulty plugin and a security issue render Wordpress logins irrelevant. I started the site from scratch from a backup of the database and the problem was fixed a few days later. It definitely won't happen again ]
