Hi all,
First time posting, so thought I'd let everyone know my mission.
I'm an Australian and only know English. My partner is Chinese and is fluent in Mandarin and Chinese.
I would like to be able to hold a conversation with my partner and his family in Mandarin. I have a few months on vacation now, so I want to try and make good use of my spare time and learn Mandarin.
I'm using the Pimsleur program I borrowed from the library, and practicing what I've learned with my partner at the end of the day.
I'm only on day two, but have learned a few basic questions and answers.
