OfflineI took Benny's suggestion and tried "Learning with Texts." I did not go into detail on the documentation, but I found it a bit cumbersome. It definitely has its place, but for Japanese I like to read with Jim Breen's web page open. http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi?9U . It allows you to translate, by word, pages at a time, gives examples (which is better than a dictionary although I have not found many phrases I wanted), gives kanji info, has several dictionaries and many other things.
