OfflineHey guys, I wanna share my tips for finding authentic foreign language resources
Tip #1 is about how to find music you like in a foreign language:
What you do, is go on youtube, change the langauge and country to the language you learn and country which your foreign language is spoken in. Then search "new music 2011" in that language, ex. " Nueva musica 2011". You should find plenty of music, some videos are even mixes of the years best songs, all in one video

Once you find a song that you really like, click on the username of the top commenter and go through their favourites, if they liked that song enough to comment on it, surely they will have other songs that you like too, right? Ive done this many times and havent been dissapointed

Tip #2 is an easy way to get podcasts in your foreign language.

Al you need to do is go to the Itunes store, look for a circular flag ( picture above shows you where it is

OfflineThese are good tips! Didn't know about the iTunes flag thing, must look for that. Also, if you use the YouTube method (or if you already know of a band you already like), Last.fm is a great place to find other similar bands/singers. Just go to Last.fm, type in the name of the band you already know into the search, and once you've found them, there is a 'Similar Artists' tab. It will have loads there to choose from! I've found 3 really good Spanish bands in the last week alone thanks to that website!

What kind of spanish music do you like? I love spanish music and I know some bands that arent that known to the common spanish learner, but certainly well known in the countries they come from, and I'd love to share them with people

OfflineEhh, I'll listen to most things, really! I'm listening to Vetusta Morla, Supersubmarina and Twelve Dolls at the moment, but I'm expanding my playlist all the time!
