I've been doing pretty well with Norwegian Bokmål, with some help of black metal fans that I know from internet (most of them are Norwegian, some have learnt the language). Something that they couldn't explain me was the presence of indefinite articles and clitic definite particles with possessive pronouns. What I mean would be, what's the correct way to say "my house"?

  • Mitt hus
  • Mitt huset
What about... "a house of mine"?
  • Mitt et hus
  • Mitt hus
  • Et mitt hus (a friend told me this was the only phrase that doesn't exist of the four I posted here, but she didn't explain at all the difference between the other ones)
  • Or other way?

The correct way to say "my house" is mitt hus:)

Not quite sure what you mean by "a house of mine" can you rephrase that? but you can definitely NOT write "mitt et hus" or "et mitt hus"

Thank you :) I mean, if a guy has many houses and he wants to say "a house of mine", will he use "mitt hus" anyways? And is it okay to say "mitt huset"? If so, what's the difference between "mitt hus" and "mitt huset"?

I mean, if someone has many houses but he is talking about one of them ("a house of mine"), will he use "mitt hus"
? And is there "mitt huset"? If there is, what's the difference between "mitt hus" and "mitt huset"? Thanks :)

"A house of mine" would be if the speaker has many houses, so he's putting this house as something indefinite, like Portuguese "minha casa"/"casa minha" or Spanish "mi casa"/"una casa mia"... And is there a difference between "mitt hus" and "mitt huset"?

It would be "et av husene mine". That is like saying "one of my houses". You can't say "mitt huset", because "huset" means a specific house, it's like saying "that house". But you can say "huset mitt"
