<– This is my pre-Christmas spirit look. I’ll get visited by time-travelling ghosts tonight, don’t worry!
But seriously, I wanted to wish all my readers Happy Holidays! Whether you celebrate Christmas, or (like me) appreciate this time of year more as a great chance to be with family, I hope you are having the best time!
I always try to make it home at this time of year to be with my parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and old friends. It gives me great perspective on my travels to be back in the town I grew up in and be back with people I know and love!
I’ll be back on the road solo again, flying into new situations and making new friends, but I definitely appreciate family time whenever I can get it!

After the weekend I’ll be writing again to wrap up the Brazilian mission before I introduce the next one!
If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope the cold weather doesn’t slow down your trip home and that you enjoy time with your friends and family. I wish you all the best for the holiday period!
Hugs from snowy Ireland!
