Incrível, eu morro de saudades do Brasil e detesto estar tao longe de lá, você simplesmente tem que voltar lá durante uma copa do mundo. A paixão que o Brasileiro sente simplesmente nao existe em qualquer outro lugar do mundo. Parece que você entendeu bem a cultura e os costumes Meu padrasto é inglês, e quando ia ao Brasil nao entendia porque nós estavamos sendo tão grossos com todo mundo, mas é assim mesmo. Se tu quer bater papo tu vai para um boteco, se quer um guaraná pede logo! A mesma coisa quando ele foi a Londres visitar o consulado Brasileiro, era uma loucura que só mesmo Brasileiro entendia, ele estava morrendo de medo!

Eu e meu namorado (que é de Geneva) estamos pensando a ir ao Brasil, com certeza vou compra-lo esse livro. Alias seu textos me inspiram muito, eu ainda nem comecei universidade, mas viajar é definativamente o que eu quero fazer! Eu já falo Inglês (Well, Yorkshire English at least) e Português e um pouco de Espanhol, vou ir passar uns meses em Geneva e a minha missão é aprender Francês, tomara que eu consiga, eu entendo um pouco por que é língua latina, mas veremos…

Aahsuashuashuahsuasuh (you should know what this is by now) comédia o ódio entre Paulistas e Cariocas, voce ficou sabendo que todo Brasileiro e Argentino se detesta também né? Que delícia ler seu blog, muito obrigada mesmo! Se quiser praticar o português, manda uma mensagem a qualquer hora!

(E tomara que você tenha entendido isso tudo, especialmente pela falta do cedilha (the little c with the snake underneath ) no meu teclado, senão definitivamente me manda uma palavrinha que eu te ajudo a me entender rapidinho!)

Coucou Dom,
J'avais passé 5 mois au Brésil avant mon séjour « Carioca ». Je dirais que je parlais déjà plus ou moins « couramment » (d'après cette definition), mais parler sans accent est beaucoup plus difficile !!
Whichever accent is "more correct" depends on who you ask. The Paulista accent is much closer to the rest of Brazil, whereas the Carioca accent is used by some courses as the standard. I think that academically, another dialect (I forget which one, perhaps Brasília), is taken as the standard and would not apply the chiado. If you have already learned the Paulista accent, stick with it to avoid complications.

Tu avais deja fait un sejour au Bresil avant, non? (au Olinda et Natal au Nord-est du Bresil)
C'etait juste cette fois que t'avais essayé de parler en portugais couramment.
I am impressed, very impressed by your dedication to learning the languages. At the present moment, I'm learning Portuguese from a Paulista. Those two dialects are very distinct and I learned a lot from Carioca songs and pronunciation so sometimes I say frente (chi) and he says frente (tay).
Which accent is the more correct one in Brazil? Does a standard pronunciation exist?

About Cariocas I have no comments. Never met one …Have a good time in Zakopane. I lost this meeting for stupid reasons…
