I hope you enjoyed this music video I made with a bunch of other polyglots! :) This page is about how to get me on Skype (or a phone call) one-on-one. Note that I have to charge for my Skype sessions because of the huge amount of requests that I get! Because of this, consultation calls with me are better suited to those running a business or entrepreneurs who feel my advice could help them.

While I tend to focus my Skype sessions on those running a business, I also of course give language coaching for those interested in working on their language learning plan of action with me directly.

I’d love to help every Fluent in 3 Months reader personally – but between learning several languages a year, blogging, improving Speak from Day One, speaking engagements, recording and professionally editing videos, travelling, and sorting through over 700 emails daily from hundreds of thousands of readers of this blog, I wouldn’t have enough time to help every single person individually even if I had hundreds of years to do it!

In addition, since my blog is about hacking language learning and fascinating cultures, rather than about running a business, private consultations are the only times when I discuss the nuts and bolts of how I’ve setup an effective online business, and how my thoughts could be applied to your situation.

If you decide a video/audio Skype (or telephone) meeting is right for you, I’ll rearrange my study lessons, blogging, and social events (i.e. speaking practice) so we can find a convenient meeting time.

Once you pay for the consultation, you’ll fill out a form telling me what problems you’d like help with or what you’d like to discuss. I’ll prepare for the meeting, then you’ll have an hour of my undivided attention to get advice, ask questions, pick my brain… anything you want.

If you have general questions about language learning or want a detailed guide on getting started, then Skype-based consultations with me aren’t cost effective unless you really need to cram before a trip.

Readers who are not financially able

I’ve been there… only a few Euro to my name and working two or three jobs. I would never, ever, want you to schedule a consultation if you aren’t financially able. In this case, I don’t want your money, and I won’t accept it.

Instead, I’d recommend checking out the blog or asking questions in the Fluent in 3 Months forums, to ask the advice of many other excellent language learners.

During our hour-long Skype/telephone call, I’ll answer any questions you might have, help you fix problems that have frustrated you or held you back, and offer the advice and action steps you need.

You’ll get the best results from Skype video calls because nonverbal communication is hugely important to conversation… and being able to see each other makes the call a lot more fun!

However, if you don’t have easy access to Skype or prefer to talk on the phone, I would be happy to give you a call! I can call any landline phone anywhere in the world (and some cell phones, such as in North America), at no extra charge to you.
