Hey there everyone! So, has anyone from the US been to Sweden? What were some of the biggest differences between the cultures? I will (hopefully) be studying abroad there soon. And I wanna learn as much as I can before then. :)

Why not make it a surprise? cool I've never been to Sweden but I've met many of Swedes across four continents and I can say that they are great people to be around. Enjoy yourself smile

I have not been to Sweden. But I do remember oprah did an episode about Swedish culture. Maybe try googling it and it will come up.

I've never been in the US but I've travelled Europe and my experience is that most Swedes are a bit shy, polite, avoid arguments and never cut in line. Until they get drunk, then it's basically the opposite. The atmosphere is a bit different at universities with more social and outgoing people so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
