Master Japanese leads you step-by-step in how to learn Japanese. This epic guide is by far the most comprehensive book I've seen on learning Japanese. It's written by John Fotheringham, a passionate, hard-core Japanese learner, and you can feel it in every page.

Confident Japanese Pronunciation
Mimic Method Japanese helps you master the “sound system” of Japanese, so you’ll improve your pronunciation and sound more like a native speaker. We all learn our first language through sound, so why not learn Japanese through sound too? With the Mimic Method, you'll learn to “see the matrix” of all human sounds, making you a better all-round language learner.
Forvo lets you find out how any Japanese word is pronounced. Just type the word you’re looking for into the Forvo search bar in Japanese, and you’ll hear it spoken by a native speaker.
Get a Japanese Tutor – Have Real Conversations in Japanese
italki: The best way to learn a language is to speak from day one. That’s why I love italki — because it means you can find an affordable Japanese tutor for on-to-one lessons, and start speaking right away.
Japanese Vocabulary and Grammar
Glossika uses audio repetition training with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make sure you're learning Japanese at the pace that feels right for you. I especially like Glossika's focus on listening and speaking. You get to watch your fluency progress live with each audio “rep”.
Jisho Dictionary is a powerful Japanese-English dictionary that gives sample sentences as well as both kanji and kana translations.
Skritter helps you learn to write Japanese characters. You can use this app to improve your kanji in a gorgeous interface. All characters are presented to you in a spaced repetition system.
