Thousands of language learners have recorded their very first attempt at speaking a new language and posted it right here. Have a scroll through and watch a few; there's something brilliant about seeing so many beginners just go for it, struggling grammar and all.

If you've recorded your own first attempt, you're very welcome to add it. Upload it to YouTube and pop the link in the comments, and you'll get loads of encouragement back from learners at exactly the same stage as you.
